On (a detour on) my way home tonight I finally managed to find this beautiful work by Stik. I saw it years ago on the web but was unable to locate it until today. Stik became famous for his simple human figures. They usually represent the people of the local community. What I love is the fact that Stik's humans are extremely sweet and all seems to have a soul.
This one is in Princelet St, just off Brick Lane, near the mosque. You can feel the love between these two individuals with different cultural background. They are so simple but so gentle
