Mr CENZ // Black woman

In one of my lunchbreaks, I randomly encountered this guy painting what it seemed to be a black woman ...

Mr Cenz at work (31 October 2016)

... one month later. The portrait was completed and the artist turned to be Mr Cenz. He is extremely prolific in East London. Apparently, he is one of the most experienced artists having started in the 80s. And you can see that in his works he mixes up graffiti-style lettering with women portraits.

He best represents the fushion between street art and graffiti. Having said that, he is not one of my favourite because his works, despite being top class, do not seem to convey a particular social message (at least to me) or are irreverent or humorous, neither they represent the local community. They can be painted in any city and in any gallery. Any way, thums up for one of the most talented street artists in town
