URBAN SOLID // 3D street sculptures

Today I move on on 3D street art. UrbanSolid is an Italian duo that has been disseminating sculptures in Milan and London. This pic was taken in Brick Lane and attracted my attention as similar to one I spotted in Milan from the train. It probably represents a couple of stereotyped tourists. They look pretty brain-less and seem to be part of the anamorphous mass, part of the system. I came to this conclusion by observing other UrbanSolid sculptures which are all about mass control and big brother era. I think that his is the message of their art: controlled people. Interesting message, although esthetically probably not my favourite. This one particularly does not fit with the context, too heavy for that particular empty wall / corner of Brick Lane. The sculpture can be seen at the corner between Brick Lane and Buxton Street
