C215 // People of everyday life
Franch artist C215 is probably the best creator of close up portraits for individuals like elders, women, children, refugees and others "that we often forget to recognize in life". He is considered the master of stencil technique which he uses to give recognition to people that society prefers to hide. I discover him in 2013 when I found an incredible sweet portrait (now gone) of a normal man in Brick Lane. That man was showing all his weakeness, and maybe for this reason, he was looking so real. Last Saturday, I was surprised to recognize this beautiful woman as one of his latest addition in Bacon Street. She seems captured by some thinking. C215 works are like little gems for me, that reveal themselves you are in the right spirit mood to look for them

... and this one is the portrait by C215 that I first saw in late 2013 on Brick Lane that I. I was impressed by how cute this man was ... his face almost fearing the judgment of the viewer. The C215 signature is not visible (probably covered), so it took me a while to understand who the artist was
