THISONE // A tinger in the urban jungle
One niche category of street art is animal paintings as a number of writers are specializing in painting animals around East London. The pioneer on this is probably the famous Belgian artist ROA, who paints giant black and white murals of the animals that lives in the area ... mostly birds and rodents. Another one is this one that you can see in the picture, made by .. This One (not kidding, this is the moniker of the artist). Also black and white, his animals are more esotic and generally more dangerous than ROA's. This tiger seems to wait for the unaware human prey that is walking in its direction. Seeing these animals in an urban environment reminds, I think, that cities are not necessarily safer than jungles as hazards may be just around the corner
